VTT is proud to offer its very own N54 to B58 Coil conversion kit for the N54 platform. While factory coil upgrades such as S55, and our own N54 coil upgrades do provide more spark, the BMW B58 ignition coils are extremely robust and can support well over 1000whp with no issues. This means a plug, and play affordable solution that fits like stock, and looks AMAZING doing so!

Vargas’s 6061-T6 Billet bracket comes in a variety of colors including matching shades for every N54 Valve Cover we offer (even the cast wrinkle). This means you can mix and match the color of the bracket with coil color, with VC color to truly tailor your engine bay to look exactly how you want it to!

The kit comes with the following:

• 1 – Billet Aluminum Coil Bracket in the color of choice or Genuine Carbon Fiber
• 6 – Plug and play VTT wiring harnesses
• 6 – Custom VTT stalks to convert the B58 coils to the N54 head (We ensure proper spring length inside the boot for optimal spring to plug contact)
• 6 – Coils in the color of choice (optional)

**Note: This only fits the stock N54 Valve covers or Vargas Billet and Cast Valve Covers.

Spark Plug Note: While some enthusiasts have had success utilizing their stock or upgraded N54 spark plugs with a B58 Ignition Coil conversion, we highly recommend swapping your spark plugs to new B58 spark plugs. This ensures proper fitment of the B58 coil and optimal spark plug operation. This is due to the difference in the spark plug terminal connector between the N54 and B58 plug. The N54 plug has a standard clamp design terminal, whereas the B58 plug terminal features a “cup” design. This difference could result in a poor electrical connection between the B58 coil and N54 plug, resulting in a weak spark and potential misfires.
