Introducing the comprehensive N54/N55 Low-Pressure Fueling Solution! With Radium Engineering’s Regulated Fuel Hanger Surge Tank at its core, this kit allows you to tailor your fuel pump setup, select an in-line fuel filter, and opt for a wiring kit for multiple LPFP configurations in your N54 or N55-powered E9X 335i.

In this setup, the BMW fuel pump serves as a “lift” pump, maintaining fuel volume in the Fuel Hanger Surge Tank via a dedicated orifice. This guarantees sufficient pressure for the venturi jet pump(s) to operate, ensuring consistent fuel delivery. Excess fuel in the FHST cycles back to the OEM tank through a one-way check valve ensuring a steady fuel supply. Unlike conventional surge tanks, which rely on pump flow matching, this FHST employs additional mechanisms to continuously deliver fuel regardless of fluctuations in other fuel sources. When the main tank nears depletion, the lift pump and Fuel Pressure Regulator step in to supply fuel to the FHST.

Furthermore, with a boost reference signal (Hobbs Switch), the Fuel Pressure Regulator operates at a 1:1 ratio, allowing fuel pressure to rise proportionally with boost pressure. The low-pressure fuel returning from the Fuel Pressure Regulator is routed back into the surge tank to maintain its fullness. Inside the canister, a 6-hole diverter ensures even fuel dispersion without air bubbles or foaming.

The stainless electrical studs included effectively handle high current demands, surpassing the capabilities of compact bulkhead connectors. These resilient connections are sealed against all standard and exotic fuels, with non-conductive acorn nuts provided to prevent accidental short circuits. The kit also includes the necessary electrical hardware for one Walbro fuel pump and the OEM level sender, while the in-tank wiring is insulated with premium chemically resistant ETFE for enhanced durability.

If you are planning on running more than one LPFP, you will need to select the Hobbs Switch option for boost reference (to be installed on the manifold or charge pipe), as well as the fuel pump wiring kit!
