Due to it’s plastic construction, the M54’s valve cover is known to crack from repeated heat cycling. Unfortunately, this creates an oil leak that can’t be solved with a simple gasket replacement and has the potential to create a vacuum leak.

Bavarian Autosport offers this replacement valve cover to fix all of these issues and includes a sealing gasket and beauty cover mounts for better installation.
